URBAN DESIGN FOR THE INNOVATION BUSINESS DISTRICT BESIDES MINGZHU PLAZA

The Hefei Mingzhu Plaza Innovation Business District is located in the northeast of Hefei Economic Development Zone and a part of it is included in the scope of the free trade zone of Hefei, which was established in 2020.

As the core of “Shuanghu Science&Innovation Circle” in Hefei, this district will help expand science and innovation services, lead industrial innovation, highlight industry-city integration and stimulate regional vitality.

By studying the application feasibility of 2.5 industry and M0 land use mode, our proposal attempts to customize the “smile curve” of the future industrial layout for Hefei Mingzhu Plaza Innovation Business District, and put forward a urban design vision with a number of alternative land schemes.
